Tarun Mansukhani`s directorial debut is a good mixture of Karan Johar`s stamp of glossy class and a new age director`s hatke treatment. Technically the film definitely stands amongst one of 2008`s best. The screenplay is truly innovative coupled with some great one-liners.

The film is a must see for Vinay Pathak`s absolutely brilliant performance. One can easily rate it above his `Bheja Fry` act. The charm of the film lies in the simplicity of its theme and its wonderfully etched characters. Watch it for some really good bitter sweet moments. The film is definitely not a waste of your time and money.

`EMI` is the kind of a film which promises a lot through its promos but ultimately delivers an average product. Debutante director Kabra is technically sound but lacks a good story telling technique. Playing a good hearted bhai is something Sanjay Dutt can claim a PhD on and he is a treat to watch.

Madhur Bhandarkar has outshined himself in the technical department making `Fashion` the most slick product till date. His perfect casting also lifts the film to a completely different level. In fact one wouldn`t be surprised if Madhur manages to win a National Award with this film as well.
